“Sometimes the best talks begin with an epic walk…”

This spring, I fulfilled a long-held dream by walking the Camino Primitivo — the original and oldest pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.

My reflections from this remarkable journey, along with photographs and stories from the trail, will be published in Apricus courageous living collection.

FACTS:
The Camino Primitivo is the original pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, first walked by King Alfonso II in the 9th century.

Beginning in Oviedo, Asturias, it crosses the breathtaking Cantabrian Mountains before winding through Galicia to Santiago. Renowned as the oldest—and one of the most physically demanding—Camino routes, its dramatic landscapes, rich heritage and UNESCO recognition make it a truly unforgettable journey.

Duration: 12–14 walking days
